I have bad eyesight and as I get (a little) older, it seems to be getting worse.  I’m one of those people who does things like wave to people who I think are my friends, only to get close and realise it is someone else or on the flip side, walk straight past people because I don’t see them.

I have been saying for ages that I am going to get some new glasses, I want some I can just leave in the car or throw in my handbag. But, as always, I’ve never got around to taking the trip to the opticians to get it sorted.

One of the girls in the office has just pointed me in the direction of one of our deals today. Until midnight tonight, you can pay just £9 for £39 worth of stuff from Glasses Direct.  It just so happens that £39 is what it costs for two pairs of prescription glasses (both pairs can be different prescriptions). Result.

I’ve just bought mine.  I plan to get a pair for me and one for my boyfriend. Should make my camping experiences that little bit better now that I will be able to see what i’m actually doing!
