Anti-Wrinkle Patches

Monday 22nd November

Let’s face it, Christmas is the season to be stressed. From baking to buying the right presents (check out our gift guides in the News page), it’s more mad than merry and that can show on your face in the form of worry wrinkles. The worst kind of wrinkles, if you ask us. So, chiconomistas, we found two inexpensive anti-wrinkle patches that you can use at night to prevent those pesky lines from getting deeper without having to dig deep into your pockets.

Frownies Forehead & Between the Eyes patches, £16.35 (RRP: £18.50), is the stick-away wonder to smoother skin. All you have to do is wet the adhesive side of the triangle-shaped patch and stick it on your forehead or between your eyes. Once the patch is dry, it acts like a cast, preventing the facials muscles from contracting, which can lead to those less-than-flattering lines. (Check out more amazing Frownies products on their official site.) Or you can make your very own wrinkle-stopping patches using plasters. Yes, you read that right: plasters. One of our writers actually cuts plasters into different shapes and sticks them on her forehead, between the eyes and just about anywhere on her face to stop making wrinkle-causing expressions over night. You can get plasters at Boots for £2.51.
