This season our Grandmas will be proud, vintage Christmas knits are back with a bang and raring to go. Reindeer, cable knits and snowflake patterns were only popular with the Bridget Joneses of yester-year, but step onto the high-street this season and you shouldn’t be seen without a cosy variation of this trend.

Some of our favourite bargains in the knitwear department came from the Queen of all things discount and style; ASOS. Get snugly in a gorgeous mustard Vila cable knit grandad cardi for only £25. Accessorise with a £9 ASOS cable fur bobble hat (the fur and knit combo is very hot this season) and some £7.50 fairisle converter gloves. Don’t forget Aztec prints and oversize blanket cardis are also very popular this winter, don’t settle for expensive, this red and black number is a very reasonable £45.
