Save Money: Make A Swish
By Becky Barnes
Even if we have a bursting wardrobe, we all have moments where we trawl through everything in it and feel despair that we have nothing to wear. Let’s face it, wardrobes can get boring, and we all wear a few select favourites for most of the time, and many items sit at the end of the rail, unworn, (some even with the tags on- oops!) Some of us might have attended clothes swap aka swishing parties; a great idea but what happens if you don’t get a fair exchange? Could be awkward…
Fear not: as the next generation of swishing involves doing it online. In an eBay style fashion you can view the items and read their descriptions, but don’t worry; money needn’t be involved. You can buy if you wish but on websites such as www.bigwardrobe.com the emphasis is on the swap factor. With clothes divided by brand and type, you can easily browse what you want and get swapping. It’s such a fantastic, hassle-free idea and will allow you to ditch wardrobe envy and avert outfit crises as you can refresh your wardrobe easily without splashing the cash. It’s also a great way of saving the environment as it’s about recycling rather than buying more than we need. There’s no need to make a wish that you’ll get those Jimmy Choos next Christmas, you can make a swish online without spending money, perfect!

Thanks for this. Have often thought about swopping stuff but never really fancied the whole ‘party’ idea so this is ideal. Thank you x
