Shopping.  We all have to have our fix.  Now for the geeky bit – did you know that a recent study found that 95% of items bought on the high-street can be bought cheaper online? – Neither did we, but we do now.

There are so many choices when it comes to how to shop online and we are going to have a natter about them. First up, Let’s take a peak at the high-street store outlets. Not the outlet villages – we’ll come to those later- but the online shops.

These are fab Aladdin’s cave type sites which can unearth a real gem and loads of our fave shops have them.  The stock they typically sell is sale stuff, excess  stock, end of line products, end of season items and perfectly good things which need just to move aside to free up space.  There are heaps to choose from depending on what you are looking for but here is our pick of the best:

The Outnet: The little sister of Net-A-Porter.com. It sells amazing brands and has flash sales including Chloe, Oscar de la Renta. Indulge here.

Amazon: The mother of all outlets with heaps of stuff available. Indulge here
