It’s a new year and already there are new (and exciting) challenges for all of us in the office. More cities were added to thedailychic.com. And one of our writers is moving. Needless to say, she is so stressed! Poor thing.

That got me thinking: Is it possible to move and save money? I mean, you can’t really skimp on the moving company. You can just compare prices from the reputable ones. And be prepared to fork out a wad of notes. But being the Northerner that I am, I had to come up with a money-saving way to move. That’s my job, after all.

Despite the stress, I think she is very lucky. There’s nothing like a new place to start fresh this new year. When are you going to get the chance to remove all those things we cling onto? Things that we don’t really need, that are weighing us down. There’s something so liberating about it. So I’m going to keep up with my resolution by tidying up my life. Getting rid of the old and giving the new space to come in.
