It’s January and although the snow is gone (thank goodness), the winter weather is still here.  And the signs of it are everywhere, namely the dry, oh-so-noticeable flakes on our lips. To keep those lips pampered in deep moisture and rich, radiant colour, the choice is simple: either go for a three-in-one lipstick (rich colour, plus a balm with SPF) or buy your fave lipstick and a balm.

Avon’s Moisture Seduction Lipstick, £8.50, fuses three luscious lip-inducing ingredients, SPF 15, ribbons of hydrating balm and of course, a heavenly hue. We had the opportunity to try it and let us tell you, this lipstick  feels like a burst of delicious moisture on our lips and although the colour is strong, our lips feel light and lovely, not tight or dry. To treat your lips for less, you can always buy a balm with SPF, such as Boots Essentials Lip Salve  Original, £1.01, and your fave lipstick, £5 (average price for lipstick at the chemist).
