The Green Resolution: Green Beauty Products

Tuesday 11th January

It’s the second week in January and we are all keeping our resolutions in the office, for now at least. Well, since we are on a roll, here’s another rather easy resolution we think everyone should try to keep: buying green beauty products. Green beauty products that are eco- and purse-friendly of course. So let’s get green!

greenbeautyproducts_elfmineralfivepiecebrushsetIf you didn’t get any much-needed make-up brushes for Christmas to replace your seen-better-days set, buy yourself the new e.l.f. Mineral Five-Piece Bamboo Brush Set. This guilt-free green treat  comes with a Complexion Brush, Eyeliner Brush, Concealer Brush, All-Over Eyeshadow Brush, Lash & Brow Comb, along with a brush bag for just £20. The brushes are made with antibacterial, 100 percent cruelty-free  Taklon bristles, natural and sustainable bamboo handles and even the ferrule that joins the handle to the bristles is recycled!  Check out the rest of e.l.f.’s green make-up brushes (and products) and start replacing those old ones. See, green can be glamorous and generous in savings.

greenbeautyproducts_moathegreenbalmNext on our list is another green beauty product that will look after our winter-ravaged skin and our surroundings. It’s Móa The Green Balm, £12. 50. This green wonder is a moisture haven, especially for weather-induced eczema, which is so-not pretty and something you just can’t cover up with concealer. The balm’s green, multi-use magic comes from the organically harvested, harsh-weather resistant Yarrow plant from Iceland. Not only does it comfort and heal dry, fragile skin, but it also soothes rashes, mild eczema, cuts, grazes, bites, burns, nappy rash, cradle cap and more.

Now you have two green beauty essentials to look fab, look after that post-Christmas bank account and to look after the planet.

Let’s try to stick to it.
